Viking Moving Services, Inc. has authority to perform local and intrastate moves in the State of Washington. The determining factor between local and intrastate moving depends on the mileage of the shipment being transported. Local moves are performed by an hourly rate while intra moves are based on the weight of the shipment.
Whether you are moving to or from Skagit, Island, or San Juan counties, Viking provides a variety of moving requests along with short or long term storage at their warehouse in Anacortes.
Additional services provided by Viking includepacking, office moving, internal moves for homes or businesses and crating art or heirlooms for estate sales.
Viking Moving Services, Inc. prides themselves in their professional manner in and around your home. We know that moving can be a stressful time so extreme care is taken to build a trusting and confident relationship with our customers for the duration of each move. All items that we pack are carefully placed in boxes and labeled with a description of the items inside and location they will be placed in your home. The remainder of the goods, such as furniture, is wrapped in moving blankets banded and or shrunk wrapped to secure moving parts and to prevent damage during the course of the move. We also use a “Home Protection Kit” which includes rug runners, door guards and door jam protectors. These are items used to keep your floors clean and entry ways protected as we enter and exit your home. Our goal is to make your relocation process as smooth as possible.
